Imiquimod Cream

Description

Imiquimod Cream is used in the treatment of genital warts, rough and scaly patches that appear due to exposure to the sun, and a certain type of skin cancer. It works by triggering the immune system to fight against the virus responsible for these warts.

Imiquimod Cream is for external use only. Use it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Use the medicine regularly at the same time each day to get most benefit from it.

Imiquimod Cream is usually well tolerated with little or no side effects. Imiquimod Cream may cause redness, itching, swelling and pain at the site of application which usually go away with time. Inform your doctor if any of these side effects does not go away with time or it worsens.
